An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high profile internet company in the UK legal team. You must be a general commercial lawyer and should have at least 6 years’ experience in the retail sector. We are keen to hear from candidates who have worked in the leading UK retail businesses and advised on supply, distribution, IP, consumer regulation and advertising. You must have an excellent academic record with a 2:1 or equivalent degree result and have trained in a leading City or national law firm. Some in-house experience is also essential. The role will require you to liaise with senior managers on the strategic development of the business as well as handle day to day legal matters such as compliance, customer contracts and resolution of disputes. The company is a fast paced and challenging place to work so you must be robust, commercial and hands on. A willingness to be team player and work hard is vital.

Our client is an innovative online media company servicing the advertising sector. A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the organisation as sole counsel and Head of Legal (EMEA). This is a first time appointment and a chance to make the role your own, advising the business on a range of issues including commercial contracts, advertising related matters, privacy and employment issues. Ideally you will be an inhouse lawyer with at least ten years post qualified experience, with prior exposure to the advertising/media/online sector.
